Mass Loaded Vinyl (MLV) Available from Sound Insulations Ltd 

Mass Loaded Vinyl from Sound Insulations Ltd is tested to Euroclass B-s2-d0. This is a flammability test where other mass loaded vinyl products fail usually. It is manufactured in the UK and available in weights upto 12Kg/m2. 

Our mass loaded vinyl is usually supplied on rolls at an optimum width of 1.2m and a roll length between 1m and 6m.

The applications for our DeciLAM  and Deadener VB5 are vast, these include oil and gas insulation applications, housing developments, automotive and noise barriers for the highways. 

The use of MLV (Mass Loaded Vinyl) has been around over a decade providing premium acoustic and thermal insulation properties from thicknesses 3mm to 8mm. The performance is enough for many customers,let alone its' easy application in to many situations. 

It usually can be combined with an acoustic absorber to provide a laminate which both blocks unwanted noise in combination with absorbing noise. Common materials used in the laminates include foams, non-wovens and foil facings. 

We supply Mass Loaded Vinyl with and without high temperature adhesive.  The MLV products we offer are coded in a light red or pink to denote its flammability performance. DeciLAM (search our site) for adhesive and Deadener VB5 (search our site) for without or plain backed variant.
